He's official gone solo and his songs aren't as innocent as the pop songs from the JoBros. Does this mean he can officially adorn the coveted title?
Nick Jonas' rockstar status is being put to the test in an exclusive interview (and photo spread)
with VMAN Magazine.
With his squeaky-clean image on the line, is it really possible for
Nick Jonas to be a rockstar? Well if this photo spread is any indication, it looks like he's already got the role down pat.
Sure, Nick Jonas may not be the typical booze-hound, party-til-the-sun-rises, drug-taking, tattooed rocker. But he's got passion, he's got talent, and he puts himself out there for the fans.
When asked why he has never rebelled like they and so many of his heroes have, Nick explains “Maybe it’s about preference,” he says. “I just prefer to make people happy with my music. I prefer to see a smile on someone’s face after I sing a song.”
And even though Nick's new songs aren't exactly the most uplifting, he says, “The best way to describe it would be thoughtful, just thinking everything through. Okay, so, it’s not all uplifting on the record, but when I do a meet and greet with the fans, or any interaction with them, I’m smiling; I’m happy; I’m trying to make them happy. With the record, with the art, I do want to express myself fully; express the thoughts and stories and ideas that I have. And I think on this record I did the best job I could with that.”
We couldn't agree with him more.
