Lindsay Lohan has reportedly proposed to her on-off girlfriend Samantha Ronson.
The Mean Girls star and the celebrity DJ have reconciled, according to US reports, and are planning to marry outside the California state.
A source close to Lohan's family revealed:
"Lindsay says Sam has promised she'll persuade her family to accept this, and they won't wait to see if California changes their gay marriage legislation, but will travel to one of the states where it is legal to say their I do's."
Lohan, 22, is also planning to convert to Ronson's religion of Judaism with the intention of marrying her.
The fiery relationship between Lohan and Ronson came to a brief halt last month after a series of public spats in the last month.
But the pair have been spotted together a number of times since, with Lohan seen leaving Ronson's home early in the morning.
Ronson also added fuel to the fire by recently changing her Facebook relationship status from "single" to "it's complicated."
