Ryan Jenkins Half-Sister May Have Helped Him Hide From Police
Ryan Jenkins, the VH1 reality star who took his own life after killing his ex wife, may have evaded police with the help of his 19-year-old half-sister, Alena, according to the Vancouver Sun.
While on the run from cops for the brutal killing of Jasmine Fiore, Jenkins was dropped off at a motel near Vancouver, Canada in a PT Cruiser. A PT Cruiser with Alberta, Canada plates that matches the description of that vehicle was seen in a parking garage attached to a condo building in which Alena lives, the Sun reports.
Jenkins hanged himself in the motel room over the weekend. Police found his body Aug. 23.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police Cpl. Norm Massie did not confirm that Alena helped Ryan check into the motel, although Canadian outlets including CTV and Canadian Broadcast Corporation are reporting she's under investigation.
The Canwest News Service reports that Ryan's father, Dan, owns a PT Cruiser. It is unknown if this is the same vehicle.
TMZ.com is also reporting police found Fiore's missing white Mercedes Benz in a parking garage in West Hollywood Wednesday. On Aug. 14, Ryan was seen leaving a San Diego Hotel in a white Mercedes with a suitcase. The next day, Fiore's body was found stuffed inside a suitcase and discarded in a dumpster in Buena Park, Calif.
Fiore's strangled body had to be identified by the serial numbers on her breast implants after her fingers and teeth were removed, a spokesperson for the Orange County district attorney's office confirmed to Usmagazine.com.
